Miss Florence Nightingale History In Hindi: एक अनोखा जीवन जीने वाली फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल का जन्म इटली के फ्लोरेंस नगर में हुआ, इनके माता पिता इंग्लैंड के धनि परिवार से थे फ्लोरैंस के जन्म के समय उनके माता पिता इटली का भ्रमण कर रहे थे, इसलिये इनका नाम उस शहर के नाम पर रख दिया गया, 12 मई 1820 में जन्मी फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल इंग्लैंड के डालिशायर में पली बढ़ी बचपन से ही इस लड़की में दुःखी इंसानों और जानवरों की सेवा करने की प्रबल इक्छा थी

एक बार एक कुत्ते की टांग टूट गयी, बेजुबान कुत्ते पर फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल को दया आ गयी और फ्लोरेंस ने उसकी टूटी हुई टांग पर पट्टी बांध दी, कुछ दिनों के बाद कुत्ता चलने फिरने लग गया
फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल ने साहितय, संगीत और चित्रकला में उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त की, उस समय के धनि वर्ग में इतनी शिक्षित महिला अपने परिवार में सुख शांति का जीवन व्यतीत कर सकती थी, लेकिन फ्लोरैंस ने सब सुखों को त्याग दिया यहाँ तक की शादी करने से भी मना कर दिया
जब उन्होंने अपने माता पिता से नर्स बनने की इक्छा बताई तो माता पिता ने विरोध किया और खूब डाटा, क्युकी उस समय अस्पतालों की स्तिथि काफी ज्यादा ख़राब थी, अस्पताल बोहोत घुटन भरे, गंदे और साधन विहीन थे, यहाँ तक की पढ़ी लिखी नर्स भी नहीं होती थी
लेकिन फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल का इरादा पक्का था, उसके बाद फ्लोरैंस जर्मनी नगर के केसरजोर गयी, वहाँ उन्होंने 6 महीने तक नर्सिंग विद्या ग्रहण की फिर वह वहां से वो फ्रांस चली गयी, फ्रांस में रहकर फ्लोरेंस ने नर्सिंग का नवीन ज्ञान प्राप्त किया , लंदन अपने घर वापस जाकर उन्होंने एक नर्सिंग नर्सिंग ट्रेनिंग स्कूल खोल दिया
सन 1854 में इंग्लैंड, फ्रांस और तुर्की से रूस के बीच घमासान लड़ाई हुई, लंदन के एक समाचार पत्र में में लड़ाई में घायलो की दुर्दशा पर दिल दहला देने वाला एक लेख प्रकाशित हुआ
जिसे पढ़कर फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल रो पड़ी, फ्लोरैंस अपने ट्रेनिंग स्कूल की सभी छात्राओं को लेकर तुर्की के अस्पताल पहुँच गयी, लेकिन उनका वह जाना डॉक्टरों को अच्छा नहीं लगा, डॉक्टरों को एक औरत का अपने काम में दखल देना अच्छा नहीं लगा

लेकिन इसकी परवाह न करते हुए उन्होंने अपनी साथियो की सहायता से घायलों के कपडे बदले, गंदे कपड़ो को धोया और पूरी लगन और सहानुभूति के साथ उनकी मरहम पट्टी की, घायलों के लिए भोजन और दवाओं का भी प्रबंध किया
लगभग दो वर्ष तक युद्ध चला, इस लड़ाई के बीच अस्पतालों का सारा प्रबंध फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल के हाथ रहा
घायलो की उन्होंने लगन से सेवा की अस्पतालों की सफाई की और उन्होने विशेष ध्यान दिया कि मरीजों को पोस्टिक आहार उपलब्ध करवाया जाये, रात में लैंप लेकर फ्लोरेंस घायलों को देखने जाती थी, जिस से घायलों का आधा दुःख दर्द दूर हो जाता था
Florence Nightingale History In Hindi: इसी कारण फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल को लैंप वाली महिला के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, तन मन से घायलों की सेवा करते करते, फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल खुद इतनी गंभीर बीमारी हुई कि अपने अंतिम समय तक बिस्टेर से भी उठ नहीं पायी
बीमारी के कारण कमजोर होने पर भी फ्लोरेंस ने नर्सिंग प्रशिक्षण के स्तर को बनाए रखने के प्रयास जारी रखे, वर्ष 1860 में उन्होंने एक नर्सिंग प्रशिक्षण केंद्र की स्थापना की जो आज भी नर्सिंग प्रशिक्षण का आदर्श केंद्र माना जाता है
फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल बीमारों की सेवा में विशेषज्ञ मानी जाती थी इसलिए अमेरिका में सिविल वॉर के समय वहा के घायल सिपाहियों की सेवा के लिए इनसे सलाह मांगी गयी, यह पहली महिला थी जिन्हें लंदन में “आर्डर ऑफ मेरिट” से सम्मानित किया गया
सन 1907 में रेड क्रॉस संस्था के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मलेन में इन्हे रेड क्रॉस आंदोलन का पथ-प्रदर्शक माना गया
